Welcome to The Liberty Café
This year we are celebrating our 11th year in business. We opened our doors in 1994 to a warm and welcoming reception. Over the years, we have had a wonderfully diverse and loyal following. We are best known for our friendly welcoming staff and our critically acclaimed American comfort food.

Nestled behind the restaurant, you'll find our Cottage Bakery, open six days a week. We offer a variety of delicious artesian breads and French pastries. It's a wonderful place to start the morning off with a cup of coffee; croissant and home-made jam while you watch the bakers create magic.

Thursday thru Saturday evenings, the bakery and patio are transformed into a romantic, soft-lit Wine Bar. It's a great place to share an intimate glass of wine, and one of our special wine bar appetizers.

The Liberty Café does not take reservations,except for Valentine's Day. We encourage you to arrive early, leave your name and take a leisurely stroll around Bernal Heights before dinner. You can also enjoy our cozy Wine Bar before your meal. We all look forward to your visit.
